Security Operations Compliance (Perform Supervisory Duties within Legal Framework)

Roles and responsibilities of the safety officer – Obtain an overview of regulatory systems, regulations and organizations that may affect the security authority and/or client – Acquire skills and knowledge in incident management and reporting based on site and client requirements – Understand and interpret security contracts and agreements – Understand and execute Security Requirements and Operating Orders Security Compliance with Security Operations (performing supervisory tasks within the competency framework) is one of the optional modules to advance to the position level of the Security Supervisor. Participants will acquire the essential knowledge and skills to understand and comply with the legal responsibilities and obligations, as well as the legal rights and obligations of the security officer. Upon successful completion of this unit, the learner will be equipped with the appropriate knowledge as well as the skills required to perform the duties required by a security guard. The learner must be able to understand the legal and regulatory framework of the security industry and adhere to the Private Security Act. Learners will be able to supervise security guards in the performance of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with organizational procedures and legal requirements. The course «Supervision obligations within the legal framework» is one of the optional modules to become a Security Supervisor (SS). This unit covers the knowledge and skills required to understand and comply with the legal responsibilities and duties of a security officer working in the security environment. PSDLF – Perform Supervisory Duties within Legal Framework is a course for security industry learners who wish to become a Security Supervisor (SS). PSDLF aims to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to manage security operations while meeting the regulatory requirements of the security industry. Compliance of security operations (execution of supervisory tasks within the legal framework) Supervisory tasks within the legal framework are a mandatory course for security supervisors (SS) under the progressive salary model (PWM).
