Trinity Legal`s partnership with The Salvation Army in Norman brings our services to Cleveland County. The Salvation Army works to serve its community with Christian education, emergency financial assistance, shelters, pantries, men`s and women`s ministries, and others. Our Salvation Army takes place every third Thursday of the month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. Appointments for this clinic can be made by contacting Leona Chapman at The Salvation Army or by calling Trinity Legal. The Crossings Community Clinic provides a medical clinic and social services to uninsured and underinsured individuals in the Oklahoma City area. Trinity lawyers meet with clients at the Crossings Community Clinic once a week, on Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m., by appointment only. Clients make an appointment for legal services by calling Trinity`s phone number. Upon appointment, a Trinity Legal volunteer conducts an initial interview with the client and collects contact information, financial information and a general explanation of the legal issue. NOTE: ALL CLINIC APPOINTMENTS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. WE DO NOT OFFER WALK-IN SERVICES.
We are now open to the public, but we require everyone in the office to wear masks because the pandemic is not over yet. For the safety of our employees and community members, we will limit the number of people in the office. If you require legal assistance, please fill out the online registration form or call 416-924-4244, ext. 21, to make an appointment. Two volunteer lawyers review the incorporation form and meet with the client. The client then recounts the details of the situation. Lawyers identify legal issues and discuss options with the client and inform them of the legal implications of each option. If the client requires ongoing representation, one of the lawyers who meets with the client that day may take over the case, or the Director will attempt to present the case to another volunteer lawyer.
The lawyers end the meeting by praying for the client. Kensington-Bellwoods Community Legal Services (KBCLS) is seeking a Board member who lives or works in the geographic area of our community, who is committed to social justice and systemic change, and who understands the holistic needs of low-income populations. ABOUT KBCLS KBCLS is a not-for-profit community legal clinic to book appointments: All clinic meetings are by appointment only. Trinity Legal works with other organizations dedicated to the material and spiritual needs of the homeless and poor. The City Rescue Mission cares for Oklahoma City`s homeless by providing shelter, food, drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs, and job training. Trinity`s lawyers only meet with CRM residents at this location. They can play a key role in meeting real-life needs and making a difference. Lawyers meet with clients at Cross and Crown Mission once a week, on Wednesdays from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m., by appointment only. Mission Cross and Crown provides food and clothing to community members. a youth centre where neighbourhood children receive food, tutoring and a safe place to spend time in the afternoon; and temporary shelters for people leaving rehabilitation and homeless shelters. Upon release from prison, men come to the ministry of living faith to find a safe, encouraging, and structured environment where they have the opportunity to develop a mature path with Christ. Living Faith Ministry supports men with educational opportunities, transportation needs, job search, money management and career development.
